Prices for glacier excursions: 2026-2027 season

Dual all glaciers

From October 2026 to March 2027, the All Glaciers tour costs $330.000 per adult, the Viedma Adventure $175.000, and the Viedma Full Day Adventure $295.000. Children pay a reduced rate, and younger children travel free. Entrance to Los Glaciares National Park is not included and must be purchased separately.

We've been navigating Lake Argentino and Lake Viedma since 1980 as concessionaires of Los Glaciares National Park, and every season we get the same questions: how much does it cost, what's included, and how much does a family spend? In this article, we've compiled all the current rates and put together examples with calculated costs so you can plan ahead without surprises.

Prices for glacier excursions 2026-2027

These are the per-person rates, in Argentine pesos, for the three Solo Patagonia excursions. Pay attention to the age ranges, as they are not the same for all trips.

ExcursionAdultMinorsFree
All Glaciers$330.0006 to 16 years: $264.0000 to 5 years
Viedma Adventure$175.0003 to 12 years: $87.5000 to 2 years
Viedma Full Day Adventure$295.0003 to 12 years: $207.5000 to 2 years

There is no minimum age for any of the three. One detail that often goes unnoticed: a 14-year-old pays the child rate for Todo Glaciares, but the adult rate for Aventura Viedma and the Full Day, where the child rate extends up to 12 years old.

Prices valid from October 2026 to March 2027, may change; please confirm when booking.

What each rate includes

  • All Glaciers: A 7-hour sailing trip from Puerto Punta Bandera, 47 km from El Calafate, facing the Upsala, Spegazzini, Seco, Heim and Peineta glaciers, with disembarkation at Spegazzini Base and access to the 350 m walkways to the De Agostini Lookout. There is a cafeteria on board.
  • Viedma Adventure: 4 hours from Puerto Bahía Túnel, 18 km from El Chaltén, opposite the Viedma Glacier, with an easy hike to the Iceberg Bay viewpoint. Includes onboard snack: premium sandwich, mineral water, and a brownie made in El Chaltén.
  • Viedma Full Day Adventure: 12 hours from El Calafate with round-trip bus, stop at Parador La Leona, 4-hour boat trip in front of Viedma, walk to the viewpoint, visit to El Chaltén and short trek to Chorrillo del Salto.

Optional: Captain's Club, Shelter Menu and transfers

You can add services to the base rate. All services are charged per person.

OptionalPrice per person
Captain's Club All Glaciers$280.000
Captain's Club Aventura Viedma / Full Day$180.000
Refuge Menu (classic, suitable for celiacs or vegetarian)$65.000

The Refuge Menu is served at the Spegazzini Refuge during the Todo Glaciares landing, and each of its three options is the same price. If you're unsure whether to add Captain's Club or the menu, we compare the two options in Captain's Club or Refuge Menu: How to Choose Your Todo Glaciares Tour . To find out if the transfer is better for you or if you should arrive on your own, read Transfer to Punta Bandera: How It Works and When It's Best.

What's not included: National Park entrance fee

None of our rates include entrance to Los Glaciares National Park. Entrance is purchased separately, preferably online at pnlosglaciares.ar , and the price is set by the National Parks Administration. We recommend booking your entrance ticket before the day of your excursion: in " Entrance to Los Glaciares National Park: How to Buy It Without Queuing" we explain the process step by step.

Budgets for a family of 2 adults and 2 children

To show you how the prices change with age, we've put together examples with the current rates. These do not include park admission.

Example 1: children aged 8 and 12

  1. All Glaciers base: 2 adults × $330.000 = $660.000, plus 2 children × $264.000 = $528.000. Total: $1.188.000.
  2. All Glaciers with transfer and Refuge Menu for the four of you: $1.188.000 + transfer 4 × $65.000 ($260.000) + menu 4 × $65.000 ($260.000). Total: $1.708.000.
  3. Viedma Adventure Base: 2 adults × $175.000 = $350.000, plus 2 children × $87.500 = $175.000. Total: $525.000. With transfer from El Chaltén (4 × $36.000 = $144.000): $669.000.
  4. Viedma Full Day Adventure: 2 adults × $295.000 = $590.000, plus 2 children × $207.500 = $415.000. Total: $1.005.000.
  5. All Glaciers + Viedma Adventure (base rates): $1.188.000 + $525.000 = $1.713.000.

Example 2: children aged 4 and 14

  • All Glaciers: The 4-year-old travels free and the 14-year-old pays the child fare. $660.000 + $264.000 = $924.000.
  • Viedma Adventure: The 4-year-old pays the child rate, and the 14-year-old pays the adult rate. $350.000 + $87.500 + $175.000 = $612.500.

If you're traveling with children, in " Excursion to the Glaciers with Children" we tell you how to experience a day out as a family.
