The Captain's Club Solo Patagonia is an optional service that complements the All Glaciers Cruise or the Viedma Adventure: you travel in a preferred cabin with greater privacy, personalized attention throughout the journey, and a menu served at specific times, including non-alcoholic beverages and a selection of specialty drinks. The cruise and the glaciers are the same; what changes is how you experience them. We designed it based on what we see every day on board: some travelers want their day taken care of from start to finish, without lines or decisions, and with a quiet place to admire the ice.
What is the Captain's Club Solo Patagonia
It's a reserved space within the ship, offering greater privacy and comfort than a standard cabin, with personalized service throughout the voyage. Your cabin is guaranteed, and someone will bring you anything you need. Food and drinks are included. When the ship approaches an ice front, you can go out onto the outside decks like any other passenger and return to your seat whenever you like.
At Todo Glaciares, the benefits continue on land: the Spegazzini Refuge boasts an 80 m² Captain's Club lounge with its own terrace and views of the Spegazzini and Heim glaciers. This is where the difference is most noticeable, as you dine facing the park's tallest glacier in a secluded setting.
What's on the menu at Todo Glaciares?
On the All Glaciers Navigation , which lasts 7 hours of sailing, the proposal follows the rhythm of the itinerary:
- Welcome: coffee, tea, hot chocolate and pastries, as we leave Puerto Punta Bandera and cross the Boca del Diablo.
- Spegazzini Moment: Patagonian snack with wines, beer and non-alcoholic drinks, in front of the glacier with walls up to 135 m high.
- Refuge Moment: Main course choice between guanaco goulash, chicken curry, Patagonian lamb casserole, lentil stew or vegetable wok.
- Sweet ending: white and dark chocolate mousse and a choice of champagne, whiskey or spirits.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when booking: there are meat-free options among the dishes.
What's on the menu at Aventura Viedma?
On the Viedma Adventure , a 4-hour trip on Lake Viedma, the Captain's Club offers a shorter and more refreshing option:
- Welcome: Specialty coffee of your choice and something sweet to go with it.
- Entrada: vegetable soup and a cheese and cold cuts platter.
- Viedma Moment: warm savory empanadas and muffins.
- Toast: whisky, liqueurs or sparkling wines, with the possibility of chilling it with ice from the glacier if ice fishing occurs that day.
The Captain's Club can also be added to the Viedma Full Day Adventure from El Calafate; it applies to the sailing leg.
What changes and what doesn't
| Appearance | General rate | With Captain's Club |
|---|---|---|
| Itinerary and glaciers | Eventing | The same |
| Place on board | General Cabin | Preferred cabin, with more privacy |
| Attention | Boat crew | Personalized attention throughout the entire tour |
| Food and drink | Onboard cafeteria or optional menu | Menu by segments and drinks included |
| Spegazzini Refuge (All Glaciers) | Main hall of 280 m² | Private 80 m² living room with terrace |
What doesn't change is the essential: the entrance to the National Park is purchased separately in both cases, and the crew that interprets the landscape is the same.
Who benefits from this
- Couples who are celebrating something and want a toast in front of the ice without having to organize it.
- For older travelers or those with little patience for lines: your place is guaranteed and the food arrives at your table.
- Small groups of friends or family who prefer to spend the day in their own space.
- Those who want to try Patagonian cuisine without worrying about what to order. If you're only interested in the food, the Refuge Menu It is a simpler alternative to Todo Glaciares.
How to add it to your browsing
It's added as an optional extra when booking the excursion; during peak season, it's best to book in advance. Check availability and current rates on the All Glaciers Navigation or Viedma Adventure pages , and if you have any questions about what each menu includes, write to us and we'll provide you with the details.
