Solo Patagonia continues to bring travelers closer to the most spectacular corners of Los Glaciares National Park. We are pleased to announce the opening of a new extension to the walkways at Spegazzini Glacier , which includes an additional viewpoint , allowing for an even more immersive experience in this unique landscape. This new observation point is located closer to the glacier and even higher than the De Agostini Viewpoint , providing an unparalleled perspective of the eternal ice.
A constantly evolving path
Last December, during the
Patagonia Day OnlyWe inaugurated the first catwalks and the
De Agostini Lookoutoffering visitors an unprecedented connection with the Spegazzini Glacier. The construction of these structures marked a milestone in the exploration of this natural wonder, allowing visitors to contemplate its impressive ice walls from an unprecedented closeness.
Now, with this new extension, the experience is further enhanced. The new section of walkways provides easy access to spectacular views and offers a sense of immersion in the vastness of the ice. The elevated location of the new viewpoint allows for a more profound appreciation of the glacier's colossal dimensions and the surrounding landscape, framed by Patagonian Andean forests and the deep blue waters of Lake Argentino.
A closer and safer experience
At Solo Patagonia, we understand that every detail counts when it comes to providing an unforgettable experience. Therefore, this expansion was designed with deep respect for the environment, using sustainable materials and ensuring accessibility so that all visitors can enjoy the natural spectacle without impacting the ecosystem.
The new , strategically located viewpoint offers an even more panoramic perspective of the Spegazzini Glacier and its distinctive ice face, which rises 135 meters above the lake level, making it the tallest in the National Park. From this privileged vantage point, one can appreciate the contrast between the surrounding vegetation and the immensity of the glacier, with its ever-changing hues depending on the daylight.

A must-see destination for nature lovers
The All Glaciers boat tour and walk along its walkways have become one of the most breathtaking excursions in El Calafate. The opportunity to walk in such an awe-inspiring environment and observe the power of nature up close makes this experience a favorite for those seeking genuine excitement in a dreamlike setting. Contributing to the popularity and appeal of All Glaciers is its 100% accessibility , which includes a lift at Punta Bandera Port, accessible restrooms, level ramps for wheelchair access, and extensive infrastructure to facilitate every aspect of the experience.
From the moment the boat approaches Glacier Bay to the walk along the new walkways, every moment in this corner of Southern Patagonia is a living postcard. The feeling of smallness before the grandeur of the glaciers is complemented by the comfort and safety provided by the structures designed by Solo Patagonia , conceived to maximize the traveler experience without disturbing the natural balance.
Furthermore, the All Glaciers cruise allows you to explore some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the National Park. The route includes a passage through the Upsala Channel, where you can see icebergs of various sizes and shapes, calved from the Upsala Glacier , one of the largest in the region. The journey then continues into the Spegazzini Channel , where the majestic Spegazzini Glacier commands attention with its imposing height and the striking contrast between the white and blue hues of the ice. Throughout the trip, the vessel offers a luxurious experience, with expansive windows and open-air decks to enjoy every detail of the Patagonian landscape.
Passengers can also enjoy lunch at the exclusive
